WestWing Mountain
The north Peoria community of WestWing Mountain includes a 300-acre mountain preserve donated to the city of Peoria in 2002. It’s a top choice for families with its location being close to numerous golf courses, major shopping centers, and the Loop 303 freeway. With a 3,200 square foot community center available for gatherings, fundraisers, and parties, and a splash pad, tennis courts, and skate park, the whole family can enjoy this community. Lake Pleasant is a 15-minute drive away and Paloma Community Park is on the other side of Westwing Mountain. If you like to hike or bike, there are miles of trails on both mountain preserves.
